The Incubator is a year-long pathway for writers who want deeper engagement, steady creative momentum, and thoughtful mentorship. Designed to nurture both discipline and exploration, this program invites you into a sustained relationship with your writing practice over the course of a year.

Each month, you’ll receive a carefully crafted prompt designed to spark curiosity and expand your creative range. You’ll also receive personalized feedback on up to two pages of poetry, offering encouragement, insight, and guidance as your work evolves. The goal isn’t simply to produce more writing, but to cultivate consistency, confidence, and a more expansive creative practice.

How It Works

You’ll receive a writing prompt. each month. You’re welcome to follow the prompt—or ignore it entirely. The prompts are designed as invitations: gentle nudges meant to spark ideas, stretch your thinking, and keep your writing moving.

Each month you may submit 1–2 pages of poetry for personalized feedback.

We’ll exchange work through Google Drive, though email submissions are also welcome if that works better for you.

The Incubator is meant to be both structured and spacious—a place where your writing can grow steadily over time, supported by regular creative prompts and attentive feedback.
